Spied a nice '69 Chevelle work in progress. The owner says it's a 402 big block with a circle track cam. Sounded great. The owner goes by " Sharky", a tech who works at at Gran Turismo East in Chamblee, GA. Spring time is near and so is the long awaited color for the skin.

On a day trip that lead my wife Laura and I to a great little bed and breakfast in Elkton, MD is where we met Michael and Barbara. They too were making a quick escape for some nice times away from the day to day grind. At breakfast is where we came together and where our conversations lead to hot rods. As it turns out Mike has a real potential hot rod.
With excitement, he explained how he is putting the final touches on his new garage which has been a longer journey than expected. The fuel that keeps him going is knowing that some day soon he will be able to take weekend trips with his wife for some adventures in his envisioned 600HP 1972 Metallic Blue Challenger. It's a vision he has had since he first got the car. The body is straight and it has the typical "challenges" one would expect from a potential hot rod. And, for some years now he has not had a real home to put the required energy into the project, but that is soon to change. Once the new garage is up and running Mike will finally be able to fufill a long awaited dream.
Below are some pictures of his dream...He is slowly collecting all the right parts to make this a super hot rod, and with 600HP running around...others should beware! Check back for updates!
